A Manifesto
Welcome, scruffy lo-fi psych pop kids of all ages!
We are Broke Down Turntable and we like our Indie made out of pipe cleaners and empty washing up liquid bottles - cheap, cheerful, and resourceful out of necessity. Oh yes, and a little bit weird out of choice.
Our mission is to undermine the foul temple of Mammon that is corporate indie. I was going to do that bit in capitals, but it's rude to shout. They took twenty years to build it up, but we'll get into the foyer, stick up a few flyers and leg it before Security know we're even there.
We have a Morris Minor. The Swell Maps tape is on.
Let's go!
