Bronze Age Fox - Books

This lovely video was directed by Andy Brown. 'Books' was originally found on the b-side of 'The Sunshine Made The Desert' 10" EP, but can now be found on the fantastic 'Compilation' album available from here.

Bronze Age Fox - Compilation Released

Following hot on the heels of the stunning 'Impossible!' album recently released, I have the pleasure of announcing that the Bronze Age Fox 'Compilation' album is now available to download on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic along with a whole host of other download stores.
But probably even better than that is that it's available straight from SVC as zipped up 320kbps mp3's for the lovely price of just £3.00

'Compilation' was originally released on CD in 2004 by Bagatelle and was a (erm) compilation of their rare as hens teeth first vinyl releases (an EP and three singles).

To download the album or buy the very lovingly designed and packaged CD from David (he still has some copies tucked away under his bed) then please visit their page here.

Bronze Age Fox...

Well...
It's been 3 years since this album was recorded, and the band split up 2 years ago. But I can proudly announce that the debut Bronze Age Fox album 'Impossible!' is finally being released today to download and love.

Bronze Age Fox were four boys from Bristol with a penchant for pop songs but a perverse interest in sullying them with all manner of subtle trickeries.
The NME described them as 'possibly our classiest leftfield pop band', and they weren't wrong.

To read a little more about why this stunning album wasn't released and to listen to some free tracks (and then buy it of course) then you could do worse than to go here.

And there's also a rather good potted history of BAF written by David Edwards here.

Ringo Deathstarr & The Vandelles on tour...

How's them apples...
This promises to be a hell of a tour, so if you're stateside you should get yourself along to one or all the shows.
Both The Vandelles and Ringo Deathstarr will have releases on SVC very soon.

Oh yes.

I Don't Want To Dream...

Today sees the UK and European release of a great new album from SVC favourite The City and Horses. The album is called 'I Don't Want To Dream' and is available on CD and a lovely zipped up version of 320kbps mp3's is also available.
A couple of years back I had the pleasure of releasing the 'Little Finland EP' that Marc Cantone had recorded by himself... He's been a little quiet on the release front since then, but has been really busy putting together a great band, playing gigs and recording this new album, which also features a brand new version of the aforementioned 'Little Finland'.

Go and check out a couple of free tracks and buy the album if it takes your fancy here.

This is going to be a damn good year....
There is this wonderfully gorgeous band you might have heard of called The Sky Drops that I've been a fan of for some time...
If you haven't by some chance heard of them then run along now to their website here, and buy their EP 'Clouds of People', download their mp3's and buy a lovely t-shirt, you seriously won't regret it.
Anyway, what has all this got to do with SVC Records?
Well, their debut album 'Bourgeois Beat' (which is currently having the finishing touches lovingly applied) will be available to you in the UK and Europe courtesy of the ever giving SVC Records.

Told you it was going to be a good year...
